On May 16, Prof. Hou Hetao from Shandong University, with his R&D team on prefabricated building visited the prefabricated concrete(PC) industrial park of Shandong High-speed Dejian Group  for technology exchange. Mr. Hu Zhaowen, Chief Engineer, Mr. Tang Zhibo, Deputy Chief Engineer of Dejian, staff from Sci-tech & Quality Department, Engineering and Technology Research Institute, and chief engineers and technical staff from branch companies took part in the exchange.

     The teachers and students from the University visited PC workshop, the research building of the PC Industrial Park, and discussed on the PC production line, R&D as well as the research building, which is a provincial prefabricated demonstration project in details.

     In the following meeting, Prof. Hou made an academic report entitled "Applicable Technology and Development of Prefabricated Steel-concrete Structure", which included a detailed comparison and analysis of the technical and development problems existing in the two systems, i.e. PC structure and prefabricated steel structure. Besides, this paper made a detailed and distinct comparative analysis of various prefabricated construction structures developed in China in recent years. The report broadened the minds of our technical staff. It will help the company to improve the PC technologies in construction areas.

    The contact and exchange between Shandong University and the company were strongly promoted through the exchange on PC technology. The school-enterprise cooperation and interaction were strengthened, and the R&D level of the group would be further improved.
