The fifth BIM Competition of Construction Industry, hosted by the China Construction Enterprise Association, has come to an end and the result of which was released at the 9th Construction Industry Internet Conference. A total of 3,341 achievements were received in this competition, including 19 special prizes, 90 first prizes, 252 second prizes, and 768 third prizes. The achievements submitted by the Engineering Technology Research Institute, Shandong Hi-speed Dejian Group, "Innovation in BIM-based Safety Calculation and Automatic Modeling Technology for Suspended Scaffolding Systems," won the first prize in this competition.

This technology is based on the Revit and Robot software and has achieved the functions of automatically creating floor level, structural axis network, columns, and other structural components in three-dimensional models, establishing three-dimensional spatial structure calculation models and performing calculations and analyses for suspended scaffolding systems, and creating comprehensive construction models. Through the research, the digitalization level of safety management and technical management for suspended scaffolding systems has been significantly improved, and the construction safety risks have been reduced and production efficiency has been improved. The spatial mechanics model creation and overall analysis technology fills the domestic gap and has certain advanced features. It has been evaluated by experts organized by the China Formwork and Scaffolding Association as an international advanced level.
