On August 24, local time in US, the Engineering News Record (ENR) list of 2022 top 250 International Contractors was released, with 79 Chinese (mainland) companies included. Shandong High-speed Dejian Group is ranked 181 in total and 57 among Chinese companies. This is the sixth year that Dejian has remained in the top 200.

In recent years, Dejian has firmly implemented the “Go Global” strategy and participated in the "Belt and Road Initiative". Its business segments such as international engineering contracting, overseas investment and international trade have been growing. It has finished key projects successively in more than 20 countries in Africa, Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, etc., such as the Sudan National Club, nearly 2,000 solar mills in Zambia, affordable housing for the Algerian government and the Blue Bridge Hotel in Guyana, contributing to local economic development and the improvement of people's livelihood. Zambia Solar Mill project was selected as a typical case of green development in Boao Forum for Asia, and Sudan National Club won The Luban Prize for Construction Project (overseas), the highest award on construction in China.

Among the first group of construction enterprises “going global” in Shandong Province, Dejian, relying on its excellent ability of carrying-out contracts and perfect global service system, has become one of the key companies in construction industry in Sudan, Zambia, Angola and so on after completing "daunting" projects, with its popularity and influence gradually improved. Facing the rapidly changing situations both on politics and epidemic, Dejian adjusted its business strategy timely by focusing on key financing projects, which not only guaranteed the steady growth of income, but also ensure the good fame of Chinese enterprises overseas.
