In September, the marketing operations of Shandong Dejian Group made two major breakthroughs that won two bid on EPC general contracting of shantytowns renovation projects with a total value of USD547.61 million.

One is Dezhou Decheng Chikou Residence 2nd phase and the Qianwei Resettlement Residence Prjecrt, with a total investment estimate of USD373 million. Among them, Dezhou Decheng Chikou Residence 2nd phase has a built-up area about 200,000 square meters and estimated investment 1 billion yuan; the Qianwei Resettlement Residence has a built-up area about 300,000 square meters and estimated investment USD224 million.

Another one is the West District and Shadong District Shantytowns Renovation Project, which is in the yearly plan of 2017 of Wucheng County, with bidding price USD175 million. Among them, the project of West District Shantytowns Renovation has 31 blocks of buildings with a total built up area 320,000 square meters; The Shadong District Shantytowns Renovation has a total built up area of 180,000 square meters.

As the EPC general contracting project, it includes the design, procurement, construction, commissioning, inspection, handover (including property management), warranty and all other contents related to the project construction that is different from the traditional project contracting mode. Winning these two bids, as the milestone in the development process, has laid a good development trend for Shandong Dejian Group and provided a broad practical platform for the company's resources integration and transformation & upgrading; also can promote the company's ability of competition to a higher and larger market to become an international EPC contractor.
